The donativo albergues on the Camino are some of my favourite places on The Way. You arrive, you are welcomed, you are fed and given a bed. And in the morning you leave what you can — what feels right, what feels fair, what reflects what the night meant to you.

That is exactly how this works.

When you book any of my services, you will pay a small, non-refundable admin fee upfront to cover booking costs — usually around £5. That’s it.

After the service has been delivered, you will receive a link to contribute what you feel it was worth — by bank transfer or WISE. No invoice. No set rate. No pressure.

What you contribute helps keep this work available for the pilgrims who come after you. If you feel your contribution is below a fair market rate and want to top it up, you can also choose the Pay it Forward option.
