Pricing

Pricing can often the main limiting factor on being able to access support and it’s taken me a while to find a way to charge for my services which feels congruent with the spirit of the Camino.

I initially charged a set rate for my services, but it didn’t feel right. You know when it kind of feels icky and doesn’t sit in your gut quite right.

I found a resistance in talking about what I was offering and the pricing aspect was a big part of it.

Believe me, I would love to do it all for free, and that is my hope for the future, but for right now I still need an income to support me.

It is so important to me that anyone who has a desire to go on the Camino should be able to and that money should not be a barrier to that.

So I have settled on three options for “payment” for my services (that is the time I give, not the products I sell).

NB: Bear with me as I am still updating this on my services. If they show a price just get in touch and we can figure it out 🙂

You are invited to contribute what you feel is appropriate or what you can afford rather than paying a set fee.

What you contribute will determine whether this service can be here for the pilgrims  that follow, like in many of the donativo albergues on the Camino. Find out more here.

NB: If you consider this to be less than a reasonable market rate for the service you are accessing, you can top it up with Pay it Forward.

Simply offer me your service in exchange for mine – like offering to massage feet, or fix a light in an albergue if you have no funds to contribute.

See here for a list of what services I would find useful, although I am also open to offers for things I might not know I need too 😉

NB: This could be a one-off, but may be more appropriate for the multi-session packages or longer workshops.

If you consider the donation you are making to be below a reasonable market rate for the service, or have no exchange that will work, this might be another option for you.

I first tried this with 8 coaching clients at the end of 2024, and I loved it. Such a beautiful way for people to access support that they needed and couldn’t afford, and then pass that on and help others.

Look at how that will work and the feedback from those sessions here.
